Patricia Ortiz (b.1991, Mexico) is a captivating artist who fearlessly merges the realms of art and therapy, creating powerful oil paintings that dive deep into the complexities of the human psyche. With a Master's in Art Therapy from Metafora Art Therapy Centre in Barcelona and a Bachelor of Arts in Art Therapy from Emmanuel College in Boston, she brings a unique perspective to her craft.

Drawing inspiration from the legacies of Caravaggio and Rubens, Patricia's ethereal portraits metaphorically capture the depths of emotions and invite viewers into a world of introspection. Through her mastery of techniques like grisaille and color glazing, she achieves a contemporary realism aesthetic that resonates with profound emotional responses. Patricia's work is an invitation to explore the intangible aspects of our inner worlds, offering a visual dialogue that sparks healing, self-discovery, and transformation. Patricia currently lives and works in Monterrey, Mexico.
